What are Telepresence Robots?
Telepresence robots uniquely enable people to feel physically "present". While people can connect via videoconferencing software such as Zoom or Skype, they can't move around a physical space.
Telepresence robots enable free-flowing situated interaction between people, enhancing the social experience. Physical presence improves social presence, leading to building trust and rapport.
